It's been so long I feel like I need to reintroduce myself.
Hi, I'm Jessica.
In the present moment, I'm eating a salad from Sweet Green. When I was building my salad bowl, the employee helping me asked if this was my first time at a Sweet Green and I felt embarrassed because it wasn't. Now my salad tastes a little bitter.
Other than that very recent encounter, I've been super busy! I finished my junior year of college as of two weeks ago and since then I started my summer internship, unpacked all of my stuff at home, booked my flight to Los Angeles for next fall, and applied tanning spray to my body because I missed the sun so much.
I've managed to get a lot done in the past few weeks, tying up loose ends from the school year, but this pang of guilt kept reminding me that I didn't post anything on here in these past two months. This blog was (is) a form of expression and an investment in myself, so it's time to get back to it. I'm currently writing for other publications, so I may not post every week like I originally set out to do about a year ago, but I'm putting my best foot forward.
